The Inn At Whitewell – Life can seem pretty sunny sitting outside in the flower filled riverside garden admiring the vast forest beyond. The food here is simple but delicious, cooked from local and often organic produce such as venison from the nearby estate with pears and celeriac (£21). Afterwards you can climb, fish or ride. If that doesn't appeal you can hire a classic car with a picnic provided.
